From slide to karyogram, in a single workflow.

A software workstation for cytogenetics research: it drives the microscope, camera and motorised stage, archives preparations by case, slide and image, and guides the operator through to the karyotype, the count and the visual analysis.

  • Acquisition in brightfield, fluorescence and FISH, with automatic metaphase finding.
  • Manual and automatic karyotyping, with a trainable classifier for Q-, G- and R-banding.
  • Fusion, count, visual analysis and FISH in the same case archive.
  • Automatic proposals that the operator can always correct; every step recorded in the audit log.

01 Main

Case and slides

The case is created in the archive with its record. Slides are created under the case and, for each slide, images.

02 Acquisition

Acquisition

Live, in brightfield, fluorescence or FISH. Or automatic metaphase finding on the slide, with a return to the ones you choose.

03 Processing · Fusion · Count

Processing and karyotype

The image is separated into objects, touching or overlapping chromosomes are separated, and the karyotype is built, automatically or manually. When that is enough, count and visual analysis.

04 Report · Log

Report and archive

The result goes into the report and stays with the case. Every relevant step is written to the audit log.
